Limousines in the Snow

Winter finally came to central Virginia! Beautiful but a toughy for all of us working to convey people to airports that are essentially shut down.

Buy my oh my is it beautiful. I sit in our house with the woodstove cranked and just chilling, while Bill Kerr, my partner in Camryn Limousine for 10 years, is at the depot making sure vehicles are dug out and prepared to assist anyone who needs transportation during this snow and ice storm. Sure glad we have 4 wheel drive SUVs!!

I don’t feel all that bad about Bill working while I lounge. Not all that bad at all.

Well, maybe a little.

It’s hard to believe that in a month, instead of slushing through snowdrifts, our vehicles will be transporting clients to vineyards and wine tasting rooms throughout central Virginia. 97% of scientists claim that it will warm up and spring will appear.

Here’s to a beautiful snowy day in Charlottesville. And to impending spring and all the beautiful that will come from it.

And here is to NOT living in a country like the one in the picture. Not yet at least.
