Safest Cars In The World

We all love to travel in style and in comfort. On the other hand, nothing beats travelling in safety. But if you can have it all, why not, right? So I did my research and I looked for luxurious cars that are know for its safety. Cars that you can dependent on when traveling in long distances.

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is an agency in-charge for inspecting car units and rating its safety level. According to them:

IIHS conducts vehicle tests to determine crashworthiness — how well a vehicle protects its occupants in a crash. It also rates vehicles for front crash prevention, systems that warn the driver or brake automatically to avoid or mitigate a frontal collision. The vehicles that perform best in the tests qualify for TOP SAFETY PICK, which has been awarded since the 2006 model year, or TOP SAFETY PICK+, which was inaugurated in 2013.

Meanwhile, here's a video that shows their pick for the year 2014. It's worthy to take note that some car companies have always been consistent when it comes to upholding safety for their passengers.

When you add luxury to the formula, your search can be narrowed down to the few number of luxury vehicles that make safety a basic requirement whenever they build new car models. International Business News shares in an article "The Safest Cars? Nine Models, Including Toyota Highlander, Volvo XC90, Have Zero Driver-Fatality Rates":

Just six years ago, no car on the U.S. market could boast a driver fatality rate of zero. Today, there are nine models with that distinction, according to a new report from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) that analyzed accident data to find out which models had the highest and lowest rates of driver deaths.

Driving in the road always has risks involved. Only about 50% of the responsibility is in your hand, while the other 50% relies on the hands of other drivers who are also in the road with you. However, there'a a greater chance of increasing your road safety when you know that the car you're driving can somehow protect you from string impacts in cases of car collision. So to be safe, always choose the IIHS-certified models, especially for your loved ones.

If you are not yet sure which model to choose, trying out different models by going for car rental companies, such as in http://camryn-limo.com/Camryn/home/, is a pretty good idea. This way, you get to drive in luxury and safety at the same time, you can even hire a chauffeur for added comfort and relaxation in your trips.
